Shaina To

Short Academic Biography 

• Shaina completed her Bachelor's in Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, majoring in Life Sciences. She then moved to the Netherlands to complete her master's in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease in Radboud University, Nijmegen. After graduation, she took up a research assistant position focusing on CLEM image analysis methods in the RadboudUMC Electron Microscopy Center. Now she started her PhD, as a shared candidate with the Topf lab and Uetrecht lab, to develop methods for integrative modeling of proteins and macromolecular structures.

• Computational modeling of viral protein interactions and capsid assembly.
