Short Academic Biography 

  • ​Sezin Tosun is a Biomedical Sciences undergraduate at the Medical School Hamburg. She is currently conducting her bachelor’s research internship in the Topf Lab, focusing on molecular and cellular aspects of immune regulation.

Research Interests & Current Project

  • ​Sezin‘s research interests include immunology, molecular mechanisms of host–virus interactions, and biomedical laboratory methods. Her current project investigates HLA molecules and the viral proteins UL1 and UL6, aiming to better understand how these factors interact and influence immune recognition.
